Pontoon Fees
Pontoon Access, Parking, Moorings & Boat Storage
Crookhaven Pontoon is owned and operated by Crookhaven Village.
It is reaching the end of its natural life and is currently maintained by three local people who are not paid for this. Sections need to be replaced every year as necessary.
This is why we had to introduce charges to use it and the village asks boat owners to pay the casual daily or season fees from the QR Codes on posters at the top of the steps.
People who pay for the season will receive a sticker for their boats which we ask you to display prominently. You can get them from Mark O’Reilly (Wet & Wild) who can be found at different times at his cabin on the quay, or Dee Sheehan in The Crookhaven Inn.
Crookhaven Village Association CLG is voluntary and pontoon fees enable us to maintain and insure the pontoon. Please pay and display your season pass. No vessels over 6.5 metres. All propellors must be down.
WARNING
This pontoon is specifically designed for tenders or other small dinghies. Ribs or boats over 6.5 metres are not permitted. If your boat is over that length you need to purchase a mooring. We can help you arrange that. Please speak to Mark or Dee about it. There is a designated area on the left-hand side for set down only.
You are not allowed to tie up there for more than a few minutes. Sadly, this system has been abused and we have had to employ dock stewards to police the pontoon. So we ask you politely
